My Opinion of Disney’s Riveria Resort Deluxe Studio
Things I Loved
- The theming was adorable. I loved the French/Italian decor with a Disney twist.
- The room was clean.
- There were a ton of outlets in the room, which made it easy to charge all of my devices at the same time.
- The rain shower was huge and luxurious.
- I love that they provide random household items, such as dish soap and a vacuum. Most hotels do not go quite as above and beyond to ensure you have everything you may need.
Things I Didn’t Love
- I thought it was standard to provide a pen and notepad, however, I could not locate them in my room.
- I wish there was somewhere to put garbage in both rooms of the bathroom. It was a bit annoying to have to walk to another room to throw out my bathroom-related trash when the other room of the bathroom was occupied.
- The locks on the bathroom doors did not work, although I have noticed this in several Disney resorts.
- This might just be me, but I was allergic to whatever detergent they used to wash the sheets.
- I personally did not think there was enough drawer space for 5 people to put away their clothes (although, I think the large closet makes up for it).
Pricing
In total, our 3-day, 2-night stay in Deluxe Studio at Disney’s Riviera Resort (preferred view) at the end of August 2023 cost 52 Disney Vacation Club (DVC) points, as we are DVC members. Currently, for a Friday-to-Friday stay, this room costs 125 DVC points. Those wishing to pay cash can expect a rate of approximately $600 a night. It is expensive, for sure, so creating a solid budget for such a stay is essential.
